About Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Co-operative Management

Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Co-operative Management (ARGUCOM) is a state university located at Sivasagar in Upper Assam, established in 2010 by an Act of the Assam Legislative Assembly. ARGUCOM is the first cooperative management university in India and is set up to provide professional education, research and training in cooperative management.

ARGUCOM offers BBA at the undergraduate level and MBA, MCA, M.Com, LLM and Ph.D programmes at the postgraduate / research level. The MBA programme has specialisations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Production & Operations and Information Technology, with a total intake of 30. MBA admission is through CAT / XAT / MAT / ATMA or the ARGUCOM entrance test, with a graduation aggregate of 50% (45% SC/ST/PwBD).

BBA: 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board. MBA: Bachelor's in any discipline (except fine arts) with 50% aggregate (45% reserved); valid CAT / XAT / MAT / ATMA / ARGUCOM Entrance score. MCA: BCA / B.Sc (CS / IT) / equivalent with 50% (45% reserved). LLM: LLB. Ph.D: Master's with UGC-prescribed aggregate.
