About Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya
Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya (KAV) is a state private spiritual university located at Nasatra (about 4 km from Sarthebari town), Barpeta district, Assam, established in 2017 under the Assam Private Universities Act. The university is built around the spiritual legacy of Krishnaguru Sevashram and combines mainstream higher education with skill development and spiritual studies.
KAV offers UG, PG, Diploma and Ph.D programmes — including BA, B.Sc, B.Com, MA, M.Sc, B.Ed, M.Ed and D.El.Ed teacher-education programmes; nursing programmes (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing); skill courses (Welding, Plumbing, Electrician, Fitter); and spiritual / Indian-knowledge-systems studies. Admission is largely on the merit of the qualifying examination — Class 12 (45% minimum) for UG and Bachelor's degree for PG.
