About The Assam Royal Global University

The Assam Royal Global University (RGU) is a state private university located on the NH-37 (Betkuchi), Guwahati, Assam, established in 2009 under the Assam Private Universities Act and made operational in 2013. RGU is one of Assam's leading private multi-disciplinary universities and is recognised under UGC Act Section 2(f).

RGU offers UG, PG, Diploma and Ph.D programmes through more than 10 schools — including Engineering & Technology, Management, Law, Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Architecture, Commerce, Education and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Admission accepts JEE Main, Assam CEE, R-JEE (Royal Joint Entrance Examinations), CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT and Class 12 (CBSE / AHSEC) marks, followed by a personal interview. Application fee is ₹1000 plus taxes.

M.Tech: B.Tech / B.E. + GATE / R-JEE. LLB: 10+2 / Bachelor's + R-JEE. Ph.D: Master's with UGC-prescribed aggregate plus RGU research entrance.
