About Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University

Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) is a state technical university located at Bhilai (Newai), Durg district in Chhattisgarh, established by the CSVTU Act, 2004 of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. CSVTU is the principal affiliating technical university for engineering, polytechnic, pharmacy and management colleges across Chhattisgarh.

CSVTU offers UG (B.Tech, B.Pharm, BBA, BCA), PG (M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA, MCA) and Ph.D programmes through 5 schools and more than 130 affiliated colleges. B.Tech admission for Chhattisgarh-domicile candidates is through CG PET (Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test) administered by CG Vyapam, with JEE Main scores additionally accepted; out-of-state candidates use JEE Main. M.Tech admission requires GATE; MBA uses CMAT or CG MBA Entrance.
