Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur (IIIT-NR) is a deemed-to-be university and a Public Private Partnership (PPP) institute located at Plot No. 7, Sector 24, Atal Nagar (Naya Raipur) in Chhattisgarh, established in 2014 jointly by the Government of Chhattisgarh, Government of India, NTPC and CDAC. IIIT-NR is one of the 25 IIITs participating in JoSAA centralised counselling.

IIIT-NR offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence; M.Tech and Ph.D programmes are also offered. B.Tech admission is through JEE Main + JoSAA centralised counselling — 50% of seats (35% All India Quota + 15% NTPC Quota) are filled through JoSAA, with the remaining 50% filled by the institute through Chhattisgarh State Quota. M.Tech admission requires GATE; Ph.D uses the IIIT-NR Research Entrance plus interview.

    Appear for JEE Main / GATE
    Register on jeemain.nta.nic.in (B.Tech) or gate.iitb.ac.in (M.Tech). For Ph.D apply directly on iiitnr.ac.in.

    Register on JoSAA
    After JEE Main result, register on josaa.nic.in for B.Tech centralised counselling. NTPC-Quota seats fill alongside AIQ via JoSAA.

    Chhattisgarh State Quota counselling
    50% Chhattisgarh State Quota seats are filled by IIIT-NR through CG state-domicile counselling — separate registration on iiitnr.ac.in.

    Final admission at IIIT-NR
    Allotted candidates pay the IIIT-NR admission fee, complete document verification and report to the Naya Raipur campus.
