Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyalaya (KTUJM) is a state journalism and mass communication university located at Raipur in Chhattisgarh, established by the KTUJM Act, 2004 of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The university is named after Kushabhau Thakre, a noted RSS / BJP organiser, and is dedicated to teaching, research and training in journalism, mass communication, advertising, public relations, electronic media and new media.
KTUJM offers UG (BA), PG (MA), Diploma, PG Diploma and Ph.D programmes in Journalism & Mass Communication, Electronic Media, Advertising & Public Relations, Film Production, Media Management and Allied disciplines. Admission to UG and PG is conducted through the KTUJM Common Entrance Test (KTUJMCET) plus group discussion / personal interview rounds; Ph.D admission uses the KTUJM Research Entrance Test plus interview.
