About OP Jindal University

O.P. Jindal University (OPJU) is a state private university located at Punjipathra, Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, established in 2014 by the O.P. Jindal University, Chhattisgarh Act of the CG Legislative Assembly. The university is named after the late industrialist O.P. Jindal — founder of the Jindal Group — and is sponsored by JSPL Foundation. OPJU is recognised under UGC Act Section 2(f) with AICTE approval for technical programmes.

OPJU offers UG (B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BA, LLB), PG (M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Com, LLM) and Ph.D programmes across engineering, management, sciences, commerce, humanities and law. B.Tech admission accepts JEE Main / OPJEE (OPJU Entrance) plus a personal interview. MBA admission uses CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / OPJEE. Other programmes admit primarily on qualifying-exam merit plus OPJEE / personal interview where applicable.
