About Shri Shankaracharya Professional University

Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU) is a state private university located at Junwani, Bhilai in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, established in 2020 by an Act of the CG Legislative Assembly. The university is part of the Shri Gangajali Education Society and is the upgraded form of the long-established Shri Shankaracharya group of professional / engineering / management institutes at Bhilai.

SSPU offers UG (B.Tech, B.Pharm, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, BA, B.Com, LLB), PG (M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, MA, M.Com, LLM), Diploma and Ph.D programmes across engineering, pharmacy, management, sciences, humanities, commerce, computer applications and law. Admission is largely on the merit of the qualifying examination, supplemented by national entrance scores (JEE Main for B.Tech; CAT / MAT for MBA; GPAT for M.Pharm; CLAT for LLB) and a personal interview.
