About Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is a state university located across multiple campuses in Delhi (Kashmere Gate, Karampura, Lodhi Road, Dheerpur, Rohini), established in 2007 by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi Act, 2007 of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. AUD honours Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, and is positioned as a research-intensive university focusing on liberal arts, humanities and social sciences.

AUD offers UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes through its schools of liberal studies, undergraduate studies, human studies, education studies, gender studies, business public policy & social entrepreneurship, design, vocational studies, culture & creative expressions, law governance & citizenship and global affairs. UG admission is conducted through CUET UG (NTA); PG admission uses the AUD Common Entrance Test (AUDET) for most programmes plus CUET PG and CMAT (for MBA / management programmes).

Admission via CUET

CUET UG / AUDET / CUET PG
Conducted by NTA / AUD

AUD admits UG candidates through CUET UG (NTA) followed by AUD-conducted counselling. PG admission uses the AUD Common Entrance Test (AUDET) for most programmes plus CUET PG and CMAT (for MBA / management programmes). Ph.D admission uses the AUD Research Entrance Test plus interview.

Eligibility

UG: 10+2 from a recognised board with the prescribed subject combination plus CUET UG score. PG: Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline; AUDET / CUET PG. MBA: Bachelor's + valid CMAT / AUDET. Ph.D: Master's with UGC-prescribed aggregate; AUD research entrance / NET-JRF.

    Register on cuet.nta.nic.in (UG) or cuetpg.nta.nic.in (PG); select Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi as a preferred university. PG candidates may also apply for AUDET on audcuet.samarth.edu.in.

    CUET UG 2026 is conducted from 11-31 May 2026. AUDET / CUET PG schedule is released separately.

    After scorecards are released, register on audcuet.samarth.edu.in, upload CUET / AUDET scorecard and qualifying-exam marksheets and pay the AUD application fee.

    Participate in AUD counselling, exercise programme preferences and confirm allotment by paying the admission fee at the Kashmere Gate / Karampura / Lodhi Road / Dheerpur / Rohini campus.
