About Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) is a state women-only technical university located at Kashmere Gate, Delhi, established in 2013 by the IGDTUW Act, 2012 of the Delhi Legislative Assembly through the upgradation of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT, est. 1998). IGDTUW is the only women's technical university in Delhi and one of very few in India.
IGDTUW offers UG (B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, ME, AIDS, AIML, MAE), PG (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Plan), B.Arch, M.Arch and Ph.D programmes. B.Tech admission is through JEE Main + JAC Delhi (Joint Admission Counselling shared with DTU, NSUT and IIIT-Delhi) — 85% Delhi quota + 15% outside Delhi. M.Tech admission requires GATE; B.Arch admission through NATA + JoSAA / JAC Delhi; MBA admission accepts CAT / MAT / CMAT; MCA admission via NIMCET. All programmes are open exclusively to women candidates.
