About Netaji Subhas University of Technology
Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is a public state university located in Sector 3, Dwarka, South-West Delhi. The institution was founded in 1983 as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) under the University of Delhi, became an autonomous university in 2018 by the NSUT Act of the Government of NCT of Delhi, and was renamed NSUT. The campus spans 145 acres and is one of the leading technical universities in the National Capital Territory.
NSUT operates two campuses — the main Dwarka campus and the East Campus at Geeta Colony — and offers UG, PG and PhD programmes across 14 departments. B.Tech specialisations include Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Civil, Bio-Technology and the recent integrated programmes in Mathematics & Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
NSUT B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main scores through JAC Delhi — the same centralised counselling that admits to DTU, IIIT-Delhi and IGDTUW. 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi-region candidates and 15% for outside-Delhi candidates. PG admissions through GATE / NSUT-PG entrance via JAC Delhi PG; PhD admissions through the NSUT PhD entrance plus interview.
