About Dharmsinh Desai University

Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU) is a state university located at College Road, Nadiad in Kheda district, Gujarat, established in 2000 by the Dharmsinh Desai University Act, 2000 of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. DDU was originally founded in 1968 as Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology (DDIT) by the Dharmsinh Desai Foundation and was upgraded to a full university in 2000. DDU is named after Dharmsinh Desai — a noted Gujarati industrialist and philanthropist.

DDU offers UG (B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BDS, B.Pharm), PG (M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, MCA, MDS, M.Pharm), Diploma and Ph.D programmes through faculties of technology, dental sciences, management, pharmacy and applied sciences. B.Tech admission is through GUJCET + ACPC counselling and JEE Main; BDS / MDS via NEET UG / NEET MDS; M.Tech via GATE; MBA via CMAT; B.Pharm via GUJCET + PCI norms.

B.Tech: 10+2 with PCM and 45% (40% reserved); GUJCET / JEE Main. BDS: 10+2 PCB; NEET UG. B.Pharm: 10+2 PCB / PCM per PCI; GUJCET. MBA: Bachelor's + valid CMAT. M.Tech: B.Tech + GATE.

   Selected candidates pay the admission fee and report to the DDU campus, Nadiad.
