About Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences

Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences (GUTS) is a state university located at Asarwa, Ahmedabad in Gujarat, established in 2015 by the GUTS Act, 2015 of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. GUTS is the world's first university dedicated to transplantation sciences and is housed within the IKDRC-ITS (Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre — Institute of Transplantation Sciences) campus.

GUTS offers PG super-speciality (DM Nephrology, M.Ch Urology), MD / MS, M.Sc, M.Phil, Ph.D, Fellowship and Certificate programmes in transplantation sciences, nephrology, urology, hepatology, GI surgery and transplant immunology. DM / M.Ch admission is through NEET SS; MD/MS via NEET PG; M.Sc / Ph.D via the GUTS Entrance plus interview; Fellowship admission uses GUTS-conducted entrance.

Eligibility

DM / M.Ch: MD/MS in the relevant discipline + valid NEET SS score. MD/MS: MBBS + valid NEET PG. M.Sc: Bachelor's in the relevant medical / life-sciences discipline + GUTS Entrance. Ph.D: Master's with UGC-prescribed aggregate plus GUTS Research Entrance + interview.
