About Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University
Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University (KSKVKU) is a state university located at Mundra Road, Bhuj in Kachchh district of Gujarat, established in 2003 by the Kachchh University Act, 2003 of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The university honours Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma — a 19th-century Indian revolutionary, scholar and lawyer born in Mandvi (Kachchh) — and serves as the principal affiliating university for colleges across the Kachchh district.
KSKVKU offers UG, PG, M.Phil, Ph.D and Diploma programmes through 18 PG departments and more than 75 affiliated colleges across arts, commerce, sciences, management, law and education. UG admission for 2026-27 is conducted through GCAS (Gujarat Common Admission Services); B.Tech / B.Pharm admission uses GUJCET + ACPC; LLB uses CLAT or KSKVKU law entrance.
