About National Rail and Transportation Institute
National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI) — now reconstituted as Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya — is a deemed-to-be university located at Lalbaug, Vadodara in Gujarat, originally established in 2018 as NRTI by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, and reconstituted as Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya in 2022 with an expanded mandate covering all transportation modes (rail, road, ports, shipping, aviation). NRTI / Gati Shakti VV is India's first university dedicated to transportation, logistics and infrastructure.
NRTI / Gati Shakti VV offers UG (B.Sc Transportation Technology, BBA Transportation Management), PG (M.Sc Transportation Technology, MBA Transportation Management & Logistics, M.Tech Rail Infrastructure) and Ph.D programmes. UG admission is through CUET UG; PG admission is through CUET PG and the GSVT Entrance Test plus interview.
