About World University of Design

World University of Design (WUD) is a state private university located at Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat in Haryana, established in 2018 by the WUD Act, 2018 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. WUD is India's first university dedicated entirely to design and the creative industries, with NAAC A+ accreditation. The university follows an internationally-benchmarked design curriculum.

WUD offers UG (B.Des in Fashion Design, Communication Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Animation, Game Design, Transportation & Mobility Design, Fine Arts; B.Arch; BBA Design Management), PG (M.Des, M.Arch, MBA Design Management) and Ph.D programmes. Admission via WUD Design Aptitude Test (WUD-DAT) plus portfolio review and interview; UCEED / NID DAT also accepted.

    Register on the WUD application portal and pay the application fee (₹2000).

    WUD-DAT + portfolio + interview
    Sit the WUD Design Aptitude Test (WUD-DAT) on the date notified; submit portfolio and attend personal interview. UCEED / NID DAT scores accepted in lieu of WUD-DAT for B.Des.
