About Central University of Himachal Pradesh
Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is a Central University headquartered at Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, established by the Central Universities Act, 2009 of the Indian Parliament. CUHP operates from two permanent campuses — Dehra (Kangra district) and Dharamshala — and offers UG, integrated, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes across humanities, social sciences, sciences, commerce, management, education, Tibetan studies and Buddhist studies.
CUHP offers programmes through 13 schools and 35 departments. UG and PG admission is conducted entirely through CUET UG and CUET PG (NTA) respectively; Ph.D admission uses the CUHP Research Entrance Test or NET-JRF / GATE qualification.
CUET UG 2026 is being conducted from 11 to 31 May 2026. The CUHP 2026-27 admission notification is on cuhimachal.ac.in.
