Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) Solan is a state private university located at Kumarhatti, Solan in Himachal Pradesh, established in 2010 by the MMU Solan Act, 2010 of the HP Legislative Assembly. The university is part of the Maharishi Markandeshwar group (alongside MMDU Mullana deemed university) and is positioned as a multi-disciplinary private university with engineering, pharmacy, management, dental and humanities programmes.
