About Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry
Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF) is a state horticulture and forestry university located at Nauni, Solan in Himachal Pradesh, established in 1985 by the UHF Act, 1985 of the HP Legislative Assembly through the bifurcation of CSK HPKV. UHF is named after Dr. Y.S. Parmar — the first Chief Minister of HP — and is India's premier university for horticulture and forestry research.
UHF offers UG (B.Sc Horti, B.Sc Forestry, B.Tech Food Tech, B.Sc Hons Agri), PG (M.Sc Horti / Forestry / Food Tech, M.Tech) and Ph.D programmes. UG admission via ICAR AIEEA UG (15% AIQ) + UHF CET (85% State Quota); PG via ICAR AIEEA PG.
