About Central University of Kashmir
Central University of Kashmir (CUK) is a Central University located at Tulmulla, Ganderbal district near Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir, established by the Central Universities Act, 2009 of the Indian Parliament. CUK operates from a 250-acre permanent campus and offers UG, integrated, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes across humanities, social sciences, sciences, commerce, management, education, languages, journalism and law.
CUK offers programmes through 8 schools and 24 departments. UG and PG admission is conducted entirely through CUET UG and CUET PG (NTA) respectively; Ph.D admission uses the CUK Research Entrance Test or NET-JRF / GATE qualification.
CUET UG 2026 is being conducted from 11 to 31 May 2026. CUK portal is at cukashmir.ac.in.
