About Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) is a state agricultural university located at Main Campus Chatha, Jammu in Jammu & Kashmir, established in 1999 by the J&K Legislative Assembly through the bifurcation of SKUAST-K. SKUAST-J serves the agricultural research, education and extension needs of the Jammu region.

SKUAST-J offers UG (B.Sc Ag, B.Sc Horti, B.Tech Agri Engg, B.V.Sc, B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Fisheries, B.Sc Home Sci), PG (M.Sc, M.Tech, M.V.Sc) and Ph.D programmes. UG admission via ICAR AIEEA UG (15% AIQ) + SKUAST-J CET (85% State Quota); B.V.Sc via NEET UG + VCI counselling; PG via ICAR AIEEA PG.
