About Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) is a state agricultural university headquartered at Shalimar Campus, Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir, established in 1982 by the J&K Legislative Assembly. SKUAST-K is one of India's 64 State Agricultural Universities and is dedicated to agricultural research, education and extension for the Kashmir Valley.

SKUAST-K offers UG (B.Sc Ag, B.Sc Horti, B.Tech Agri Engg, B.V.Sc, B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Fisheries, B.Sc Home Sci), PG (M.Sc, M.Tech, M.V.Sc) and Ph.D programmes. UG admission via ICAR AIEEA UG (15% AIQ) + SKUAST-K CET (85% State Quota); B.V.Sc via NEET UG + VCI counselling; PG via ICAR AIEEA PG.
