About Amity University Jharkhand

Amity University Jharkhand (commonly Amity University Ranchi) is a private state university located on Ranchi Patratu Dam Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Established in 2016 by the Amity Education Group through the Amity University Jharkhand Act, 2016 (Act No. 13 of 2016), the university was set up at the invitation of the Government of Jharkhand during Jharkhand Momentum (2015-16). The campus is part of the pan-India Amity Education Group network and operates under UGC, BCI and AIU recognition with NAAC A+ accreditation.

Amity University Ranchi offers 80+ UG, PG and PhD programmes across Engineering & Technology (Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science), Commerce, Economics, Communication, Literature, Management (MBA), Computer Applications (MCA), and a range of liberal arts and sciences. The campus features modern teaching facilities and is part of the wider Amity University ecosystem with cross-campus credit transfer.

UG: Class 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 55% aggregate in the relevant discipline. B.Tech: 10+2 with PCM and at least 60% aggregate, plus a valid JEE Main score. LLB (5-year integrated): 10+2 with at least 50% and a valid CLAT score. PG (MBA): Bachelor's with at least 60% and a valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT score. Other PG: Bachelor's in the relevant discipline with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). PhD: Master's with 55%+ and qualifying UGC-NET / GATE / Amity PhD entrance plus interview.
