About Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) is a state university located at Morabadi, Ranchi in Jharkhand, established in 2017 by the DSPMU Act, 2017 of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly through the bifurcation of Ranchi University. The university is named after the late freedom fighter Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

DSPMU offers UG, PG and Ph.D programmes across arts, sciences, commerce and management. UG admission via CUET UG / merit; PG via DSPMU PG Entrance or CUET PG.
