About Nilamber-Pitamber University

Nilamber-Pitamber University (NPU) is a state university located at Medininagar, Palamu district in Jharkhand, established in 2009 (Act 2007) by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The university is named after Nilamber and Pitamber — the freedom-fighting Chero brothers — and serves the Palamu, Garhwa and Latehar districts.

NPU offers UG, PG and Ph.D programmes across arts, sciences, commerce, management and education. UG admission via CUET UG / merit; PG via NPU PG Entrance or CUET PG.
