About Rani Channamma University

Rani Channamma University (RCU) is a state university located at Bhutaramanahatti, Belagavi in Karnataka, established in 2010 by the Karnataka Legislative Assembly through the bifurcation of Karnatak University Dharwad. RCU is named after Rani Channamma of Kittur — the 19th-century freedom fighter — and serves the colleges of the Belagavi, Bagalkot and Vijayapura districts.

RCU offers UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes through 40+ PG departments and 200+ affiliated colleges. UG admission via CUET UG / merit; PG via RCU PG Entrance or CUET PG.
