About University of Agricultural Sciences

University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad is a state agricultural university located at Krishi Nagar, Dharwad in Karnataka, established in 1986 by the UAS Dharwad Act, 1986 of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly through the bifurcation of UAS Bangalore. UAS Dharwad serves the agricultural research, education and extension needs of north Karnataka.

UAS Dharwad offers UG (B.Sc Ag, B.Sc Horti, B.Tech Agri Engg, B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Fisheries, B.Sc Home Sci, B.Sc Food Tech), PG (M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA Agri-Business) and Ph.D programmes. UG admission via KCET + KEA counselling (state quota, 85%) and ICAR AIEEA UG (15% AIQ); PG admission via ICAR AIEEA PG.
