About Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth
Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth (CVV), established in 2017 by the Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth Act, Government of Kerala, is a private state university located at Adi Sankara Nilayam in Veliyanad, Ernakulam district. Founded by the Chinmaya Mission, the university is named in memory of Swami Chinmayananda, the Vedanta scholar and founder of the Chinmaya Mission.
CVV offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes combining classical Indian knowledge systems with contemporary subjects — BA (Honours) in Sanskrit, Vedanta, Bharatanatyam, English, Psychology; BBA, BCom (Honours); MA in Sanskrit, Vedanta, English, Psychology; MBA (Business Management); BVoc and PhD. The university has campuses at Veliyanad (Kerala), Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) and Mumbai (Maharashtra). NAAC A+ accredited (Cycle 1, 2023).
UG admissions through CVV Entrance Examination + interview + Plus Two marks. PG admissions through CVV PG Entrance + interview. PhD through CVV PhD entrance. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. Merit-cum-need scholarships available.
