About Avantika University

Avantika University, established in 2017 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a private state university located on Ujjain-Indore Road near Ujjain. The university is part of the MIT Pune Group (MIT World Peace University) — and is the Group's MP campus. Avantika is the ancient name of Ujjain (the city is also one of the seven sacred cities or Sapta Puri). The university focuses on design, business and applied sciences.

Avantika University has multiple schools — School of Design (BDes, MDes), School of Engineering & Technology, School of Business (BBA, MBA), School of Liberal Arts, School of Computer Applications, School of Mass Communication, School of Architecture and School of Fashion. The School of Design is the flagship — offering UG and PG in product, communication, fashion and interaction design. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).

Admissions through Avantika Entrance Test or design portfolio (Design programmes) + interview. JEE Main, NATA, NID DAT, NIFT, CAT accepted. CUET UG/PG accepted. PhD through Avantika PhD entrance.
