About Chhindwara University
Chhindwara University, established in 2019 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a newly created state university serving the Chhindwara division of Madhya Pradesh. Located at Chhindwara — the home district of former MP Chief Minister Kamal Nath — the university was created by upgrading the Chhindwara cluster of colleges affiliated to Rani Durgavati University Jabalpur (RDVV).
Chhindwara University has multiple teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education, Agriculture and Engineering & Technology. The university affiliates 80+ UG colleges across Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat and Mandla districts. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
UG admissions to affiliated colleges through MP Online (epravesh.mponline.gov.in) on Plus Two merit. PG admissions through Chhindwara University PG Entrance or CUET PG for select departments. PhD through Chhindwara University PhD entrance.
