About Dr. C.V. Raman University
Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU), established in 2018 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a private state university located at Khandwa Road, Khargone (with Khandwa city as main location). The university is named after Sir C.V. Raman — the 1930 Nobel Laureate in Physics. CVRU Indore is part of the AISECT Group of Universities (the same group that operates RTU Bhopal). Note: the main CVRU is at Bilaspur Chhattisgarh; this is the AISECT MP campus extension.
CVRU Indore has multiple schools — Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Commerce and Mass Communication. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
Admissions through AISECT Common Entrance Test (AISECT CET) or merit on Plus Two/UG marks. JEE Main, GATE, CAT accepted. CUET UG/PG accepted. PhD through CVRU PhD entrance.
