About Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV), established in 1995 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a unique private deemed university dedicated to the integration of modern higher education with the Vedic tradition. Located at Karondi, Katni district (60 km from Jabalpur), the university is named after Maharishi Mahesh Yogi — the founder of Transcendental Meditation (TM) and the global Maharishi Movement.
MMYVV has faculties of Vedic Sciences (Vedanta, Yoga, Ayurveda, Astrology), Modern Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering, Education, Management, Commerce, Languages, Music & Arts. Programmes blend Maharishi Vedic Approach with contemporary subjects. The university operates the Maharishi Vedic Pandit Campus where traditional Vedic scholars are trained. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
Admissions through MMYVV entrance or merit on Plus Two/UG marks. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. PhD through MMYVV PhD entrance + interview. Traditional Vedic pathshala graduates accepted with equivalence.
