About People’s University

People's University, established in 2011 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a private state university located at Bhanpur, Bhopal. The university is part of the People's Group founded by Dr. Suresh N. Vijayvargiya — a healthcare and education conglomerate. People's U is among the largest medical-focused private universities in MP, with its own People's Hospital and medical college on campus.

People's University has 13 faculties — Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Sciences, and Faculty of Education. The People's Medical College & Research Centre with its 1200-bed hospital is the flagship unit.
