About Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya
Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), established in 1998 by the RGPV Act, is the state technological university of Madhya Pradesh. Located in Bhopal, the university is named after the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. RGPV is a purely affiliating-and-examining technological university and is the principal regulator and degree-awarding body for all engineering, pharmacy, architecture, computer applications, management and applied science programmes in over 200 affiliated colleges across MP.
RGPV has no constituent colleges — it is a fully affiliating university. The University Institute of Technology (UIT-RGPV) at the Bhopal campus is the only university-run institution. RGPV affiliates 200+ engineering and 100+ pharmacy/management colleges across MP. NAAC A grade accredited; recognised by AICTE/COA/PCI.
B.Tech admissions through MP CET (Madhya Pradesh Common Entrance Test conducted by MP Vyapam/MPPEB) and JEE Main; B.Arch through NATA/JEE Main Paper 2; B.Pharm through MP CET. M.Tech through GATE/PGECET; MBA through MAT/CMAT/CET; MCA through NIMCET/CET. RGPV does not conduct its own entrance — all through state CET/national exams.
