About Sri Aurobindo University
Sri Aurobindo University, established in 2021 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a private state university located at Indore-Ujjain Highway, Ujjain district. The university is named in honour of Sri Aurobindo Ghose — the philosopher, poet and spiritual leader who founded the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry. The university is part of the SAIMS (Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences) Group with a strong medical, dental and allied health focus.
Sri Aurobindo University Ujjain has faculties of Medical Sciences (MBBS, BDS), Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law and Mass Communication. The Sri Aurobindo Medical College & Hospital is a flagship unit. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f); medical programmes by NMC and DCI.
MBBS/BDS admissions through NEET UG with state counselling by DME-MP. B.Pharm through MP CET. Nursing through MP PNST. Other programmes through SAU Entrance + merit. CUET UG/PG accepted. PhD through SAU PhD entrance.
