About Sardar Patel University

Sardar Patel University, established in 2018 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a private state university located at Garra, Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh. The university is named in honour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of independent India. SPU Balaghat serves the southern MP region (Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Seoni districts).
