Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University (SRU), established in 2015 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh state legislature, is a private state university located at Hoshangabad Road, Misrod, Bhopal. The university is named after Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan — the second President of India, philosopher and educationist (whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers' Day on 5 September).
