Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU), established in 2015 by an Act of the Maharashtra state legislature, is a private state university located at Charholi Budruk, Lohegaon (Pune). The university is part of the Dr. DY Patil Group (Ajeenkya branch — named after Dr. Ajeenkya DY Patil, son of the founder Dr. Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil). ADYPU has a strong focus on liberal arts, design and emerging technologies.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University has multiple schools — School of Design (BDes), School of Engineering & Technology, School of Architecture, School of Liberal Arts, School of Management, School of Film & Media Studies, School of Health Sciences, School of Hospitality & Tourism, and School of Fashion.
