About MGM Institute of Health Sciences
MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS), established in 1989 as the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2006 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at Kamothe, Navi Mumbai. The institute is part of the Mahatma Gandhi Mission (a charitable trust founded by Kamalkishor Kadam — a Maharashtra cabinet minister). MGM has multiple campuses across Maharashtra including Navi Mumbai (main), Aurangabad, Noida (UP), and Indore (MP).
MGM Institute of Health Sciences has six faculties — Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences and Yoga & Wellness. The MGM Hospital & Research Centre at Kamothe is a 850-bed teaching hospital. NAAC A grade accredited.
