About Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai
Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai, established in 2014 by an Act of the Maharashtra state legislature, is the 18th National Law University of India and one of the three MNLUs of Maharashtra (along with MNLU Nagpur and MNLU Aurangabad). Located at Powai, Mumbai (within the IIT-Bombay campus area), MNLU Mumbai is a state university participating in the Consortium of National Law Universities.
MNLU Mumbai offers a 5-year integrated BA LLB (Hons.), 1-year LL.M., and PhD programmes in law. Specialised research centres include Centre for Maritime Law, Centre for Commercial Law and Centre for Constitutional Law. NAAC accredited; recognised by Bar Council of India (BCI).
BA LLB (Hons) admissions through CLAT UG conducted by Consortium of NLUs. LL.M. admissions through CLAT PG. PhD through MNLU Mumbai PhD entrance. Maharashtra state quota of 25% within CLAT merit for Maharashtra domicile candidates.
