About Spicer Adventist University
Spicer Adventist University, established in 2014 by an Act of the Maharashtra state legislature (and continuing the legacy of Spicer Memorial College founded in 1915), is a private state university located at Aundh Road, Pune. The university is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church's global education network and is the first Adventist university in India. The university combines Christian values with modern higher education.
Spicer Adventist University has eight schools — Theology, Education, Business Administration, Computer Science, Communication, Languages, Sciences and Music. Offers UG (BA, BBA, BCom, BCS, BSc), PG (MA, MBA, MTh, MDiv) and PhD programmes. The university uses English as the medium of instruction and has an international student body (with students from over 20 countries). NAAC accredited.
Admissions through Spicer Adventist Entrance Test or merit on Plus Two/UG marks. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. Specific programmes (Theology) accept candidates from the Seventh-day Adventist Church via separate ecclesiastical admissions. PhD through Spicer PhD entrance.
