About North East Adventist University
North East Adventist University (NEAU), established in 2020 by an Act of the Meghalaya state legislature, is a private state university located at Thadlaskein in Jaintia Hills district. The university is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church's global education network — complementing Spicer Adventist University in Pune (the first Adventist university in India). NEAU is the second Adventist university in India and is specifically focused on serving NE students.
North East Adventist University has multiple schools — Theology, Education, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Liberal Arts, Communication, Nursing and Health Sciences. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes with Christian education values and English-medium delivery. The university has an international student body drawn from Adventist communities globally.
Admissions through NEAU Entrance Test or merit on Plus Two/UG marks. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. Specific Theology programmes admit candidates from the Seventh-day Adventist Church via separate ecclesiastical admissions.
