About Birla Global University

Birla Global University, established in 2016 by an Act of the Odisha state legislature (continuing the legacy of Birla School of Communication founded in 2011), is a private state university located at Bhoinagar, Bhubaneswar. The university is part of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture (founded by the Birla family — one of India's oldest industrial families). The university focuses on liberal arts, media, management and law.

Birla Global University has multiple schools — Birla School of Communication, Birla School of Management, Birla School of Law, Birla School of Liberal Arts, Birla School of Commerce, Birla School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Birla School of Computer Science.
