About International Institute of Information Technology

International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar (IIIT-BH), established in 2006 by the Government of Odisha and declared an Institute of National Importance equivalent (state-funded autonomous institute, NOT one of the 5 PPP IIITs) under the Odisha state legislature, was given university status in 2014 as a private deemed university. Located at Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar, IIIT-BH is one of the older state-funded autonomous IIITs (pre-dating the central PPP IIITs) and is fully funded by the Government of Odisha.

IIIT-BH has 8 departments — Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Applied Mathematics, Mechatronics, Computational Sciences, Smart Manufacturing, and the Department of Humanities. Offers B.Tech (in 5 specialisations including Smart Manufacturing), Dual Degree B.Tech-M.Tech, M.Tech, MTech-PhD Integrated, and PhD programmes. NAAC accredited; recognised by AICTE.
