About Khallikote University

Khallikote University, established in 2015 by an Act of the Odisha state legislature (continuing the legacy of Khallikote College founded in 1878 — one of the oldest colleges in Odisha), is a state university located at Berhampur (Ganjam district). The university is named after the Khallikote estate, which patronised education in southern Odisha. The original Khallikote College had been an autonomous Plus Three college for over a century.

Khallikote University has 15 PG teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education and Management. The university maintains the historic Khallikote College heritage. NAAC A grade accredited.
