About XIM University

XIM University, established in 2013 (originally as Xavier University Bhubaneswar) by an Act of the Odisha state legislature, is a private state university located at Xavier City, Plot No. 12 (A), Nijigada Kurki, Harirajpur, Bhubaneswar. The university is part of the Jesuit Society (Society of Jesus) — the same Catholic order that operates St. Xavier's College Mumbai, XLRI Jamshedpur and Loyola College Chennai. XIM was renamed XIM University in 2020 to distinguish from St. Xavier's College/University Mumbai.

XIM University has multiple schools — Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB — its flagship management institute consistently ranked among India's top 10 B-schools), Xavier School of Communications, Xavier Law School, Xavier School of Sustainability, Xavier School of Human Settlements (urban planning), Xavier School of Rural Management, Xavier School of Computer Science & Engineering, and the School of Government & Public Policy. NAAC A+ accredited.
