About DAV University

DAV University, Jalandhar, established in 2013 by an Act of the Punjab state legislature, is a private state university located at Sarmastpur, Jalandhar. The university is run by the DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC) — the historic Arya Samaj educational network founded in 1885 in honour of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. DAV University Jalandhar is the first DAV-branded university (separate from the older DAV Colleges across India).

DAV University has multiple schools — Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Commerce, Mass Communication and Liberal Arts. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
