About Desh Bhagat University
Desh Bhagat University (DBU), established in 2013 by an Act of the Punjab state legislature (continuing the legacy of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes founded in 1996 by S. Lal Singh Sandhu), is a private state university located at Amloh Road, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. The university is named "Desh Bhagat" (Patriot of the Nation) in honour of freedom fighters. DBU offers a wide range of professional programmes.
Desh Bhagat University has multiple schools — Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Commerce, Mass Communication, Hotel Management, Health Sciences and Allied. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
Admissions through DBU Entrance Test or merit on Plus Two/UG marks. JEE Main, GATE, CAT, NEET UG, CUET UG/PG accepted. PhD through DBU PhD entrance.
