About Guru Ravidas Ayurved University

Guru Ravidas Ayurved University (GRAU), Punjab, established in 2010 by an Act of the Punjab state legislature, is a specialised state Ayurveda university of Punjab. Located at Hoshiarpur, the university is named after Guru Ravidas — the 15th-century Bhakti movement saint, social reformer and one of the prominent figures of the Sant tradition revered in Punjab. GRAU is one of the few specialised Ayurveda universities in India.

Guru Ravidas Ayurved University has Faculty of Ayurveda, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Yoga & Naturopathy, and Faculty of Nursing. It affiliates several BAMS-offering Ayurvedic medical colleges across Punjab. Offers BAMS, MD/MS Ayurveda, B.Pharm Ayurveda, BSc Nursing and PhD programmes. Recognised by CCIM/NCISM.
