About Rayat Bahra University

Rayat Bahra University (RBU), established in 2014 by an Act of the Punjab state legislature (continuing the legacy of Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes founded in 2001), is a private state university located at Sahauran (Kharar-Banur Road), Mohali district, Punjab. The university is part of the Rayat-Bahra Educational and Research Trust founded by Gurvinder Singh Bahra.

Rayat Bahra University has multiple schools — Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Architecture, Commerce, Mass Communication and Hotel Management. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
